POSA upholds pole’s Olympic ambition

The World Pole Sports and Arts Federation (POSA) is now committed to bringing pole to the Olympic Games and has convened a working group to work on the integration of pole sport into the Olympics.

It will focus on the inclusion of pole in the Olympic family for LA 2028, Brisbane 2032 and beyond.

Mission

The working group’s first mission will be to set up a series of workshops to outline the mandate it has been handed over to, in order to have pole sport recognized as a full-fledged Olympic sport.

To this end, it combines the efforts of numerous national federations and acts as a representative body within the governance of the sport in order to secure the inclusion of pole sport in the extended family of the Olympic Games.
